Summer thus far has been unsettling, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Plans are quickly changing and my heart rate is a little higher these days. Instead of doors opening and closing, it seems like everything is waiting on the other side of one of those fancy rotating doors that lead into a classy building. You gotta catch it at the right time, or else you'll have a broken nose...
However, I serve a God that is bigger. It's a process in holding to that truth whole-heartedly but I'm pass the intial start. He smashes and enhances agendas, including my own so that they line up with his glory and his heart.
...So Here's to the next most logical step in faith. May I seek his glory in it before my own relief.
I still want the city.

"My master told a parable once that we should always pray and not lose heart. When you face the Corruption of life, he says "Come boldly and trust Me."
Grant me justice against my adversary, that thieving traitor I despise. Every word you speak is a prophecy that I feel true, over me you speak. I believe countering his deceit, your will be released within me.
I’m not here alone. I rise and smash agendas back. And one day soon I'll see it, my prayers, your prayers, they will be answered. All my life I wished for a fight that actually meant something more than all this earthly waste. I hope to bring people face to face with you lord.
You’ll get no sleep from my eyes till she comes home.
You’ll get no sleep from me. Ill sit here and pray alone.
The lost will see the high cost as you paid. I plead War.
All My Watchmen, Wake Up!"
No sleep from my Eyes- Sleeping Giant

This was taken flying over the Netherlands early one morning after take off in route back home form Uganda. I've always loved this picture. I drive by the airport almost everyday and lately I get a little pit in my stomach at the though of not being in one of those planes overhead. Perhaps the oppertunity will come soon enough...But I can plan anyway, right?
Any suggestions?
Today, I introduced my mom to Dead and Gone by TI featuring Justin Timberlake. By the end we were singing it together.
So far my summer list consist of: books, piano, internship, backpacking, Nashville with Meg, Hillsong in Hotlanta with Rachel, writing more, Bluegrass night at El Barrito, perhaps a summer class or two, making and saving a little green, nursing home, helping out at the news here and there, Lake Murray, various trips to Charleston and Greenville, gardening, painting, educating myself on movies and being barefoot as much as possible...More to come, no doubt.
Scott and Seth, perhaps one day I will shake yall's hand and be able to thank you in person.
"Souls like the wings,
Spreading out
Away from bad memories.
Make us capable of taking off and landing
Alive with understanding
Let me go, let me go"

I still know my hands
I'm thankful for dark crowded corners filled with good music and good friends.

I got up early yesterday and went to the oh so familar Wired Bean to study. Dearest Megan was working and we enjoyed each other's company over coffee and Mewithoutyou. She's good to me.
I use to wake up early for no reason, then college happened. But I'm beginning to welcome the early hours again with open arms...Nothing is tampered yet and the lighting is perfect. It's humbling.
Today is this cat's birthday. Happy Birthday Mandrew!

Stompin' Grounds
Being the 20 year old young lady that I am, I found myself in the creek today. It was rainy, I had muddy elbows, I caught 2 lizards, and I had a good time.
In other news, I'm starting ProjectPostal '09.
Get Ready...if you want. I'm not forcing you to.

Isaiah 41:10, Matthew 28:20
You'd only make the softest sound, like sugar pouring into tea. Darling let your self pour down and dissolve into the Love who revealed himself there quietly to me." -Mewithoutyou
The lies will soon enough become nothing more than an objective of destruction in battle. I will scream back louder in the Love and in affirmation that is undeniable.

I leave for D.C. on Saturday with Midtown, not really having a clue whats going on and not really knowing many people. I like it better that way.
Psalm 18.
I play piano a lot more these days. I don't have a clue what I'm playing but it feels right.
I miss walking through Hoima, holding Collins' hand and drinking Stoney.

I've been blessed with some fun times recently. Adventures, new friends, old friends, good conversation, hidden treasures, front porch sits, good music and good food.
Nick got hitched to one heck of lady on Saturday. I've learned a lot from this man over recent years, and I don't use the word "man" loosely. He's been such a brother and an encouragement and I miss him very much...Lindsay is beautiful and her spirit is so evident and I'm blessed to have been apart of their day. Tears were shed, Beyonce was played, and the ride back was interesting.
-D.C. is probably going to happen over spring break.
-Beyonce. Cancer Bats. Kings of Leon. Anathallo. Call to Preserve
-Casablanca.
-Nathan Willis Suprise.
-Phil Miller knows more about cars than you.
-Parking Meters can suck it.
-Megan Venters was a small rodent in a previous life.

I wrote this about a year ago. I came across it today finding that it means more to me now than it did then. Such irony:
-"I think it's beautiful that the Truth is consistent not matter the culture or generation...Assurance. I want honesty to resonate in such of a way that it rings clear and leaves no other option but to love God, love people. I believe it's already happening. We still have a long way to go, but we're past the start and that's beautiful too. "
"In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory. " Ephesians 1:13-14
"I'm becoming exhausted from solely seeking out goals. What happened to just seeking Christ?"
"May we be found where Truth is told always."-

"I saw the pain in your eyes when
You gave up all that was yours.
And When Your face hit the pavement
I just walked on by
You say you don't deserve it all.
Well, look me in the eyes
And hear me say these words to you:
That you have come too far to try
don't try.
Your whole worthiness has been given to you.
You say you don't deserve it all,
You say you've strayed so far.
But do you know what our Father's done?
The Ring is on your fingertips;
the celebration , here.
The angels sing as if they were one.
And you could throw it all away,
but what's out there?
So live away, you are free.
And you don't have to be afraid
to come home."

Megan and I made our way to the big MB this weekend to hang out with my family. Myrtle Beach is notorious for being a redneck travler's dream but after going hundreds of times, we were fortunate enough to see a beautiful side of it that we didn't know existsed. My family took our camper to the state park where there are the most beautiful oak trees and sand dunes. The quiet and cold air was needed a little more that I realized. It was rather low key and brief, but great: sat on the pier, pissed off a seagull or two...or three, family time, a "nice sea food dinner," listened to a lot of Ryan Adams and Eastmountainsouth, a few measly attempts at climbing trees, made friends with sweet old man named Bobby who worked at Krispy Kreame, and of course an open road and good conversation.

I woke up to a white yard this morning and although it was short lived I enjoyed the change in scenery. I laugh at the chaos that our area goes into as if we're preparing for a blizzard. However, that same chaos got me another 30min of sleep before going to class and I got to watch my excited 7 year old step brother almost burst at the fact of having a day off for a snow.

Currents

Just as faith is nothing without action, I would like to think that the same goes for hope. Perhaps they are one in the same.
The Blues and Let Your Love be Strong, both by Switchfoot, have been in such a heavy but beautiful rotation.
You know those big moments were you expect to lose you breath but instead, you discover it's easier to breathe than ever? When you think you're walking on ice but come to find, it seems to be the most solid stone you've ever stepped on? It's been a while since I've had one of those, maybe even years.
Winter beach weather happens tomorrow with the family and the best friend.
An open road and good conversation is needed and welcomed.
I want to Rock.
And Roll.
So much.
