Tonight:
They forgot the pineapple on the pizza so Josh and I handled it.
Had an awful batch of Sour Patch Kids...didn't know that was possible.
Then Andrew joined us. We shot guns.
Vin Diesel. I'm not a fan.
Making fun of each other in old yearbooks.
A.W. Tozer
Solid conversation with one of my favorite married couples.
Megan is good bistra in more ways than one.

Ask me in person about Africa.

Juliana Theory's Emotionalism album never gets old...10th grade anyone?

Christmas festivities had their moments but was still low key and enjoyable.
Day after = chaos

I saw the Columbia skyline from on top of a hill last night. Silent affirmation is so strong these days and I didn't know my heart for this place could be restored not only this much, but in this way.

Post culture shock is setting in and I welcome it. I prefer to stay on my toes because right now that's the safest yet boldest place to be. Being bold isn't such a distant subject.

"...because apart from You, I am nothing."

Tractors. Firetrucks. Rainbow Bright. Reba McEntire. Sound of a steel guitar. Open Fields. Plum Trees. So much childhood.

The Gospel is such a sweet sound to me again.

Merry Christmas.

Hello Old Friend

Exams are over. I'm home and settled.

Now Uganda.

Kendra and I were talking today and we have no idea what to expect and we both agreed that this is a good thing. Whether they are good or not, I do not want to be set back by any false expectations and only pray that his preparation would be made right in us and each person we come in contact with...I've been a vulnerable person all semester for many reason and I hold every confidence that the same vulnerability that was such good soil for fear, will be the same vulnerability that the Lord uses to manifest himself, in not just me but the people around me.

Or team is beautiful, passionate and love themselves some Jesus, some of which are my best friends. Their hearts are so encouraging and I want to learn to love them and the rest of our team better on this trip and become the church with them. I can't imagine a better way to leave NGU.

"I've got your back" has a refreshed meaning to me after this week.

My friends are God fearing, beautiful people.
