Summer thus far has been unsettling, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Plans are quickly changing and my heart rate is a little higher these days. Instead of doors opening and closing, it seems like everything is waiting on the other side of one of those fancy rotating doors that lead into a classy building. You gotta catch it at the right time, or else you'll have a broken nose...

However, I serve a God that is bigger. It's a process in holding to that truth whole-heartedly but I'm pass the intial start. He smashes and enhances agendas, including my own so that they line up with his glory and his heart.

...So Here's to the next most logical step in faith. May I seek his glory in it before my own relief.

I still want the city.

"My master told a parable once that we should always pray and not lose heart. When you face the Corruption of life, he says "Come boldly and trust Me."

Grant me justice against my adversary, that thieving traitor I despise. Every word you speak is a prophecy that I feel true, over me you speak. I believe countering his deceit, your will be released within me.

I’m not here alone. I rise and smash agendas back. And one day soon I'll see it, my prayers, your prayers, they will be answered. All my life I wished for a fight that actually meant something more than all this earthly waste. I hope to bring people face to face with you lord.

You’ll get no sleep from my eyes till she comes home.
You’ll get no sleep from me. Ill sit here and pray alone.
The lost will see the high cost as you paid. I plead War.
All My Watchmen, Wake Up!"

No sleep from my Eyes- Sleeping Giant

I think its safe to say that a movie score is my favorite thing about what goes into a film and what makes it great. I think that John Williams just may have the best job in the world and I teared up watching this. He is one on my list of the hands that I would like to shake someday.

This was taken flying over the Netherlands early one morning after take off in route back home form Uganda. I've always loved this picture. I drive by the airport almost everyday and lately I get a little pit in my stomach at the though of not being in one of those planes overhead. Perhaps the oppertunity will come soon enough...But I can plan anyway, right?
Any suggestions?

Today, I introduced my mom to Dead and Gone by TI featuring Justin Timberlake. By the end we were singing it together.

So far my summer list consist of: books, piano, internship, backpacking, Nashville with Meg, Hillsong in Hotlanta with Rachel, writing more, Bluegrass night at El Barrito, perhaps a summer class or two, making and saving a little green, nursing home, helping out at the news here and there, Lake Murray, various trips to Charleston and Greenville, gardening, painting, educating myself on movies and being barefoot as much as possible...More to come, no doubt.

Scott and Seth, perhaps one day I will shake yall's hand and be able to thank you in person.

"Souls like the wings,
Spreading out
Away from bad memories.
Make us capable of taking off and landing
Alive with understanding
Let me go, let me go"

If you can't already tell from every single one their faces, I wish I could somehow convey to you just how much joy these little boys had.
